Applications:

1) Dichloro(pcymene)ruthenium(II) dimer is used as a catalyst in the benign synthesis of primary amines via the reduction of nitriles (ChemSusChem, 1: 1006)

2) Dichloro(pcymene)ruthenium(II) dimer is used for N-Alkylation of amines and sulfonamides (Journal of the American Chemical Society 2009 131 (5), 1766)

3) Dichloro(pcymene)ruthenium(II) dimer is used as starting material for chiral phosphine complexes
